The League Management Company (LMC) has announced new dates for some Matchday 9 fixtures as well as for fixtures which were rescheduled from earlier in the season.
The affected Matchdays include Matchdays 2,3,8 and 9 and the new dates were conveyed to all Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) clubs in a letter sent by the C
Matchday 2 fixtures involving Remo Stars and Wikki Tourists, Bendel Insurance and Enyimba, Kada City and Yobe Desert Stars, Gombe United and Akwa United as well as Matchday 3 fixtures between Rivers United and Katsina United, Lobi Stars and MFM will all now be played on Sunday, 24 February 2019.
Similarly, the Matchday 3 fixture between Yobe Desert Stars and Abia Warriors as well as the Matchday 8 fixture involving Lobi Stars and Rivers United and the Matchday 9 fixture between Katsina United and MFM will now be played on Wednesday, 6 March 2019.
Meanwhile, the LMC has postponed the Matchday 9 encounter between Kada City FC and Kano Pillars until after the general elections with no new date fixed for the match.
