NPFL: Katsina United Goalie Reveals His Mojo after Winning Fans’ Hearts in Uyo (AUDIO)

Katsina United goalie Abdullahi Boje endeared hearts to his terrific performance and denied Akwa United of any accolades from their home fans who stood up in revolt to applaud the visitors at the end of a barren 90-minute of football in Uyo.

The Visitors conceded an 81st-minute penalty against the 2017 Aiteo Cup Champions on Matchday 4 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) but Boje’s heroics denied Mfon Udoh from scoring his third goal of the season and left the home team in want of their first win.

Speaking to, Boje who made a series of goal-denying saves said: “I thank God for today’s game. We play very well today. We played to the instruction of the coach and we thank God at the end of the day, we get the result.”
