NPFL: Kano Pillars End Winless Streak, Doma Hold Gombe United

Kano Pillars defeated Sporting Lagos 1-0 at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Saturday to end their barren five winless streak.

The hosts got their goal through Mustapha Umar.

Umar slotted the ball into the net three minutes after the break.

Pillars moved to sixth position on the NPFL table following the win.

Doma United and Gombe United battled to a 1-1 draw in their derby at the Pantami Township Stadium.

Gombe United took the lead through David Nnaji on 12 minutes.

Musa Usman equalised for Doma United four minutes after the hour mark.

Six matchday 27 games will be played on Sunday.
