NPFL Fines Enyimba N2m For Misconduct, Suspends Official

Title-holders Enyimba have also been charged for breaching NPFL Framework & Rules after failing to provide adequate security during their matchday 15 fixture against Rangers in Aba.

Enyimba’s failure to provide effective security led to unauthorised persons gaining access to match officials’ dressing room, which is a restricted area.

The Aba giants further breached the rule book after their fans & officials harassed the match officials in their dress room, an act capable of bringing the game to disrepute.

Finidi George’s side failed to ensure the proper conduct of their officials, leading to the harassment and intimidation of the referee after the match.
