NPFL: Enugu Rangers Seal Kit Deal With Italian Sportswear Company

Rangers International of Enugu have signed a five year merchandising and branding contract with Italian kit manufacturers Lotto Italia SPA.

The contract which value was undisclosed was sealed in Enugu on Tuesday by the management of the Peoples Antelope and the Nigerian representatives of Lotto, Desgraf and Mart (D&M).

Under the terms of the deal, the Italian sportswear giant will provide playing and training kits for the seven-times Nigeria Professional Football League champions and have exclusive rights to market Rangers-branded merchandise for the next five years.

Speaking at the occasion, General Manager of the 2018 Aiteo Cup champions Davidson Owumi described the deal as record-breaking saying it had the potential of earning an estimated N3billion (three billion naira) for the Enugu State government owners of the club.

The Peoples Antelope are currently preparing for the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup first round tie against Gabonese side AS Pelicans on 29 September at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium..

The Enugu side trail 2-1 from the first leg in Libreville.
