Dakkada International FC have been able to maintain an unbeaten away form due to their ability to stay focused in unfamiliar terrains, Coach Caleb Esu says.
Esu made the revelation ahead of the NPFL new boys’ encounter against Sunshine Stars in Akure on Sunday.
“When you get to somebody’s home as an away team, the concentration level will be very high and you will be focused to see to it that you don’t disappoint or get beaten scandalously.”
The 2018/2019 Nigeria National League Champions have had a fairytale run in the league barring two consecutive home losses to Kano Pillars and Akwa United.
On the road, the Uyo based side have picked seven points from five games including a shock 2-0 victory over Enugu Rangers.
“I think it is that coercion” Esu explained, “and being very focused to the away game that is really giving us those results (away from home).”
