Tosin Omoyele opened his Enyimba account as the Aba Elephants edged Katsina United in Aba to go level at the top of the Nigeria Professional Football League on Sunday.

Omoyele, signed from Plateau United in the off-season scored on the stroke of half-time with his first for the club to put Enyimba in front and the home side held on for a second straight win, a fourth at home and all three points.

The win moves Fatai Osho’s side level on 17 points with leaders Rivers United who have a superior goals difference and beat bottom side Adamawa United in Port Harcourt courtesy of Rafiu Kayode Ishaq lone goal.

Katsina United, meanwhile, drop to 16th with 7 points.
