No New Face In Super Eagles Starting Line-up Against Cameroon, Returning Victor Moses & Ighalo Starts

There will be no starting shirt for any of the Super Eagles new invitees when they take on the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.

However, returning old boys, Chelsea star Victor Moses and China based Odion Ighalo are walking straight into Gernot Rohr’s starting line-up for Friday’s all important World Cup qualifier against Cameroon in Uyo, according to sources.

Newcomers, Anthony Nwakaeme and Hull City’s Ola Aina will have their places on the bench as in form Hapoel Be’er Sheva midfielder John Ogu and Leicester City’s Kelechi Iheancho both also failed to make the starting XI.

Captain, John Obi Mikel, who has been absent from the team after a long injury lay-off will mark his return with the midfield sorting task in partnership with Ogenyi Onazi and Wilfred Ndidi.
