Nigerian Youngster Trains With Arsenal First Team Ahead Of Bournemouth Visit

Nigerian youngster, Joseph Olowu has trained with Arsenal’s first team ahead of the Gunners Premier League game against Bournemouth at the Emirates this weekend.

The 17-year-old central defender, who moved to Arsenal from Charlton Athletic when he was 13, currently plays for Arsenal’s Under-18, having won the Future Cup with the club’s Under-17s.

“Alex Iwobi has really been an inspiration to me and to my team mate Tobi Omole,” Olowu told Arsenal’s official website earlier this year.

He continued: “He(Iwobi) came through the Arsenal Youth system and is doing so well. He scored against Zambia in the World Cup qualifiers the other week and his name is growing and growing in African football.”
