Nigerian striker Akor Jerome Adams has sealed his loan transfer to Norwegian second division side Sogndal Fotball.
The 18-year-old joins the club on an 11-month loan deal until July 31, 2016 from Jamba Football Academy after the Flying Eagles star impressed the club’s head coach Eirik Bakke while he was on two trials, in March and this summer.
His transfer was confirmed by the club on Thursday and he has been handed the number 28 jersey.
Akor Adams will link up with compatriot and Nigerian international Akeem Latifu at the club.
On his transfer, he told the club’s website that: “I am very pleased to be here in Sogndal. Now, I have to work hard. I’m going to work hard for the team, play matches and move on.”
Sogndal’s Director of Football, Havard Flo added: ”This is a very exciting signing. Jerome is a great boy who has been good in the group, and I hope to develop him as a football player.
”Akor is a powerful player with good physiques and he has good finishing skills.” He concluded.
