Nigerian midfielder Raphael Ayagwa has completed his transfer to Norwegian top flight outfit Lillestrom from Plateau United.

The 20-year-old joins Lillestrom from the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) champions after signing a four-year contract.

In his first interview as a Lillestrom player, Ayagwa told the club’s website: “It feels good to be here and the club feels like a big family. I had to wait a little for my visa in Nigeria, but now I’m finally here.”

“And everything works very well. Mathew came to the hotel and welcomed me today early. I really appreciated that.

“My ambition is to play with the big guys in Europe.” He concluded.

Lillestrom are currently 13th on the league table ahead of their next game against Haguesand on Sunday.
