Nigerian Forward Henry Onyekuru Signs Loan Deal With Galatasaray

Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru has joined Turkish giants Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal from Everton.

This was confirmed by the Turkish Super League outfit on Thursday evening.

Henry Onyekuru, 21, signed for Merseyside club Everton in a £7m deal from Belgian side KAS Eupen and was immediately loaned to another Belgian side Anderlecht in a bid to help him qualify for a work permit.

The Super Eagles player went on to score nine goals in 19 appearances for Anderlecht before suffered a season-ending knee injury in December.

The injury prompted him to return to the Premier League side for treatment.

He scored 30 goals in 60 matches in all competitions for both KAS Eupen and Anderlecht in the last two seasons.
