Croatian forward Andrej Kramaric has described the Super Eagles of Nigeria as his side’s most difficult opponent in Group D.
The former Leicester City star made this known in a chat with reporters as quoted by Sport Express Russia.
In his words, the TSG Hoffenheim player said: “Nigeria – the most difficult opponent for us, because with it we will hold the first match in the tournament.”
”It is very important to start very well. In addition, we expect a difficult match against Argentina. This is a very strong opponent.
”Everything is great, we are concentrated, feel team spirit and unity. We need to prepare well for the first game.” He added.
On Luka Modrić’s role in the team, the 26-year-old said : ”Luka is a very important player for our team. This is one of the best players on the planet.”
Croatia and Nigeria will do battle at the Kaliningrad Stadium in Kaliningrad on Saturday.
