Ngannou Apologises After Devastating Defeat To Joshua

Francis Ngannou has apologised to his fans following his devastating defeat to Anthony Joshua.

The Cameroonian was knocked out in the second round by Joshua.

Ngannou, who went into the contest in buoyant mood following his impressive professional boxing debut against Tyson Fury last year was no match for his British opponent.

The 37-year-old was knocked down in the first round with a powerful right hand.

The referee stopped the contest in the second round after he was floored by a strong right hand.

“Sorry guys I let you all down,” Ngannou wrote on his X account.

“Today was a bad day in the office but tomorrow will be another day.
