Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president, Amaju Pinnick, has revealed that football and Coca Cola have huge following in Nigeria and that about 100 million Nigerians take the drink.

The former Delta State Sports Commission Chairman was speaking during the World Cup trophy tour ceremony in Russia as he also confirmed that Nigeria would be one of the destinations for the World Cup trophy tour.

In his words, Pinnick said: “Football and Coca Cola have huge following in Nigeria. Nigeria with a population of 180 million.”

” I can tell you emphatically that about 100 million of those people take Coca Cola, so its a super brand and we’re very happy that Nigeria will be one of the destinations that this trophy will be paraded.” he added.
