German World Cup winner Bastian Schweinsteiger and his wife, retired Tennis star Ana Ivanovic, are expecting their first child together.
The former Bayern Munich and Manchester United midfielder revealed this via his official Twitter handle as follows:

Schweinsteiger and Ivanovic had earlier tied the knot in Venice, Italy on July 12, 2016 having dated for 22 months.
Bastian Schweinsteiger was part of the Germany team that won the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil while his wife is a former world number one.
