Ndidi Scores 3rd Goal Of Season In Leicester’s 4-1 Win Vs Southampton

Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi took his tally for the season in all competitions to three goals as Leicester hammered 10-man Southampton 4-1 at St. Mary’s in the Championship on Friday night.

It is Ndidi’s first goal in the league this season after scoring two goals in the Carabao Cup.

Also in action in the game were Kelechi Iheanacho and Joe Aribo, who both came on in the second half.

While Aribo came on in the 78th minute, Iheanacho was introduced with six minutes left.

Black Stars of Ghana defender Kamaldeen Sulemana was shown a straight red card in the 97th minute.

Ndidi got Leicester’s third goal which put them 3-1 up three minutes into first half added time.

After running into Southampton’s box, Ndidi received a pass, neatly dribbled his marker
