Ndidi Denies Leicester City Exit Rumours

Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has denied rumours linking him with a move away from his Premier League club, Leicester City.

The 21-year-old has been subject of transfer links with five-time European champions Liverpool but the player says his future lies at the King Power Stadium.

In his words through LeicestershireLive, Ndidi said: “A transfer has never been on my mind.”

“I feel very good at Leicester.” He added.

Since joining the Foxes in January 2017 from Belgian side Genk in a £17m deal, Ndidi has become a key performer for his team.

He has scored two goals in 50 league appearances.

Wilfred Ndidi also has 19 caps for the Super Eagles and featured in all the three Group D games as the team crashed out of the 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia in the group stage.
