NBBF Signs N60m, 2-Year Sponsorship Deal With Total

The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has signed a multi-million naira sponsorship deal with Total Upstream Companies in Nigeria.

The two-year deal worth N60m will see Total become the sponsors of the federation’s Men’s National Division 1 and 2 leagues.

The new sponsorship deal was revealed at the contract signing ceremony in Lagos on Thursday.

On the new partnership, the Managing Director of Total, Nicolas Terraz stated that the partnership represents one of the ways the oil and gas company was helping to develop Nigerian sports.

In his words, Terraz said: “So this sponsorship of the Nigerian basketball is a bold step in keeping with our philosophy and ambition. It is a two-year deal and we are hopeful it will produce a lot of results in grassroots development.”

“For us, this sponsorship is another way of reinforcing our partnership with Nigeria and our desire to support the development of Nigerian sports.” he concluded.
