Kwara Adorable Angels continued their show of dominance in the ongoing National Division One Handball Championship in Kaduna with a 53-19 whitewash of Anambra Gallant Babes 53-19 on Sunday to extend their unbeaten run.
The other game played in the women’s category saw Confluence Queens defeat COAS Shooters Babes 25-18.
In the men’s category of the second-tier handball league, Plateau Vipers II showed great resolve to prevail against Katsina Desert Warriors 29-24 while Delta Force edged Gateway Pioneers 29-26 in another tight contest.
Benue Buffaloes didn’t need too much to dispatch Kano Pyramids 25-14, Yankari Bulls saw off Mind Scope Gladiators 30-22, Confluence Stars outclassed Police Machine 23-15 while Bayelsa United edged Kwara Adorable Stars 30-29 in the closest contest of the day.
