Moses Simon has reacted to her winning goal in Nantes’ 1-0 victory against Clermont on Sunday.
Simon scored the decisive goal in the 48th minute of the keenly contested encounter.
It was his first goal for the Canaries in nine months.
It was also the first victory of the season for Pierre Aristory’s side.
“I saw that the goalkeeper was moving forward. Already in the first half, I had noticed. We had this chance and we had to make this move,” Simon was quoted by tribunenantaise.fr.
“This first victory was a long time coming. It’s a very important victory for everyone, for the supporters. We must continue to work to continue to progress.”
Nantes currently occupy 15th position on the table with five points from five games.
