Musa Back to Goal Scoring Form Ahead of 2019 Total AFCON

After a rather long spell goalless outings for Al Nasr forward, Ahmed Musa, the Super Eagles stand-in captain finally ended his inability to find the back of the net with a brace in his team’s 6-0 win over Al-Jandal.

The Saudi based player celebrated the win a tweet on his official handle stating: “Good to start the year with a goal! We keep working hard still the end of the season. Well done Mates…”

According to footballlive.ng. Musa said, “I think the two goals is a sign of good things in this new year for me. I am so pleased to know that I got off the new year with a bang.”

“I just have to score goals I think is one of the reasons why I was bought to play here and I am glad Allah has been faithful to me in terms of my career.

“Things are really working as expected ever since I came here.”

Musa will look to improve his form ahead of the Super Eagles’ dead rubber 2019 Total African Cup of Nations final qualifying match and the high profile international friendly against The Pharaohs of Egypt.
