Mourinho Feud Is A Personal One – Conte

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has revealed that the ongoing feud between him and Manchester United manager José Mourinho is purely a personal one.

He made this known in his pre-match conference ahead of Chelsea’s Carabao Cup semifinal 1st leg clash at home to Arsenal.

On if he regrets, Conte said: “Do I have the look of a person who regrets? I don’t think so. We both said these things and we’ll see what happens in the future.”

When asked if the public fall-out could damage the reputations of both clubs, Conte added: “This is not a problem for the clubs. It’s a problem between me and him. I stop.”

Conte further stated that there is no need to involve the Football Association (FA) in the matter.

The Italian tactician said: “I think it’s not important, (to involve) the association, you understand.”

“It’s not important. He said serious words, using serious words and I won’t forget this.” he concluded.
