Mourinho Congratulates Juventus On Ronaldo Transfer Coup

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has lauded Italian Serie A giants Juventus on the record-breaking acquisition of Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo from European champions Real Madrid.

Ronaldo, 33, completed his move to Old Lady on Monday after putting pen to paper on a four-year contract worth at least €100m plus add-ons.

Former Chelsea, Inter Milan and FC Porto manager also spoke about how the Italian Serie A has become the most important championship in the world.

In his words via Tele Radio Stereo, Mourinho said: “Serie A has become the most important Championship in the world. I congratulate Juventus. It is a blow with effects at all effects levels including Marketing, Advertising and Merchandising.”
