Super Eagles forward Moses Simon and his wife, Ibukun Sarah Adenuga, have welcomed their first child, a baby girl, to their family.

The KAA Gent of Belgium star announced the arrival of the bundle of joy on Friday via his official Twitter handle.

The tweet read: “I just want to say Thank U Lord!!! She is born 3|08|2018, my princess ?? is here thanks to the queen ? @princess_mide27 for everything you are a true hero, the king ? will always make you both happy as always#miracle baby is here ❤️glory be to God??.”

The couple tied the knot in an elaborate wedding ceremony in the Oyo State capital of Ibadan on December 29, 2016.

Moses was a key performer for the Super Eagles as he helped the team qualify for the just concluded FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia into for him to miss out of the final 23-man squad as a result of a thigh injury.
