Moses Simon Ruled Out Of Russia 2018 World Cup (Audio)

Super Eagles forward Moses Simon has been ruled out of this summer’s FIFA World Cup in Russia.

The Genk of Belgium star has been ruled out for the next three to four weeks meaning that he will miss the tournament which starts in 18 days (June 14).

His injury status and World Cup ‘no show’ was confirmed by head coach Gernot Rohr in a chat with reporters after the team’s evening training session on Sunday.

In his words, the Franco-German tactician said: “Unfortunately, Simon Moses is injured. Our medical team told me that it’s at least three or four weeks.”

“He’s out which means that he is confirmed that he’s out of the World Cup.” he added.
