Moses Simon Nominated For Nantes Award

Super Eagles forward, Moses Simon has been nominated for Nantes Player of the Month for February following a series of magnificent performances for the Ligue 1 side.

The French club revealed the nominees for the award on their Twitter page with Simon pitted against three of his teammates for the accolade.

Simon who is on loan at Nantes fro LaLiga side Levante was named Man of the Match in his side’s 2-1 home loss to leaders PSG and the thrilling 3-3 draw with Dijon – finding the net on both occasions.

The former Gent player was also instrumental as Les Canaries bagged a stunning 3-1 victory over 2nd-placed Olympique Marseille away from home.

Simon has become an integral part of Nantes first team and Player of the Month nomination for February is testament to his impact for Christian Gourcuff’s side.

He will contend Kader Bamba, Nicolas Pallios and Imran Louza for the award which will be determined by a fan vote that will close on Thursday by 5 pm.
