Mo Salah Called “Muslim C**t” By Fan In West Ham Draw

during the Premier League match between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on February 4, 2018 in Liverpool, England.

Mohamed Salah was called a “Muslim c**t by a West Ham fan during Liverpool’s clash with the Hammers at the London stadium.

Salah was subjected to a barrage of vulgar abuse about his religion as he prepared to take a corner in the 1-1 draw on Monday night, a footage has revealed.

The footage was filmed on a mobile phone in the West Ham section of the stadium,  although it is unclear who was making the chants.

One supporter was heard shouting: “Salah you f***ing Muslim, f***ing Muslim c**t. F*** off.”

The police and English FA are now looking into the incident, which is now one of many incidents to have shamed English football this season.

They have promised a zero tolerance approach should they find those responsible.

A West Ham United spokesperson said: “At West Ham United, we have a zero tolerance policy to any form of violent or abusive behaviour.

“We are an inclusive football club. Regardless of age, race, religion or belief, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, sex, sexual orientation, gender reassignment or disability, everyone is warmly welcomed at London Stadium.

“Anyone identified committing an offence will have their details passed to the police and will face a lifetime ban from London Stadium.

“There is no place for this kind of behaviour at our stadium.”
