Maradona Unveiled As Dinamo Brest Chairman In Bizarre Fashion (Video)

Argentine football legend Diego Armando Maradona was on Monday unveiled as the new chairman of Dinamo Brest FC in bizarre fashion.

The 57-year-old had earlier been named the chairman of the Belarusian club in May.

His official unveiling as chairman was held on Monday evening in what was a colorful ceremony.

At his presentation, the 1986 World Cup winner was given a ring and also signed various items in addition to arriving at the venue in a strange manner.

Maradona arrived at the venue in an open-top jeep which afforded him the opportunity to acknowledge cheers from fans.

His last job was at United Arab Emirates (UAE) side Al Fujairah.

He left the club earlier this year after he resigned from his post as head coach.

Dinamo Brest FC of Belarus presently occupy sixth position on the Belarusian Premier League table.
