Manchester United Secure Second Spot Despite Premier League Stalemate At West Ham

Manchester United have sealed second position in the Premier League this season despite playing an entertaining goalless draw with West Ham United at the Olympic Stadium, London in a rescheduled game.

Jose Mourinho’s men dominated proceedings but failed to break a resolute defence marshalled by Spanish goalkeeper Adrian as both sides settled for a goalless draw in the fixture for the first time in 20 years (1998).

The draw means Manchester United (78 points) have secured second spot with one game left while West Ham United stay in 15th place with 39 points from 37 league games.

Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea has also won the Golden Glove with his 18th clean sheet of the season after he kept West Ham United at bay.
