Manchester City transfers: Navas Secure Return To Sevilla; Fernando Close To Gala Switch

Spanish winger Jesus Navas has sealed a return to former club Sevilla om a free transfer after the 31-year old was released by Manchester City.

Navas joined Manchester City in 2013 on a four-year contract and went on to score 8 goals in 173 appearances before the expiration of his contract this summer.

In a related development, Brazilian midfielder Fernando is also close to moving away from the Etihad Stadium with the former FC Porto man already in talks with Turkish giants Galatasaray.

Earlier, Nigerian international forward Kelechi Iheanacho had a medical at Leicester City ahead of his £25m move with reports claiming that Manchester City have inserted a buy back clause of £50m.

Navas, Fernando and Iheanacho were not first choice under Pep Guardiola last season and it’s no surprise they are moving onto greener pastures.
