Manchester City have moved closer to sealing the Premier League title after they recorded an impressive 3-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur at the Wembley Stadium in a Matchday 33 clash played on Saturday night.

Pep Guardiola’s side raced into a two-goal lead in three first half minutes courtesy goals from Gabriel Jesus and IIkay Gundogan (controversial penalty after Hugo Lloris fouled Raheem Sterling).

The hosts fought back just before halftime with Danish playmaker Christian Eriksen reducing the deficit for his side but that turned out to be a consolation after Sterling scored in the second half to wrap up the win for the table toppers.
