Lokosa, Onazi, 5 Others Storm Eagles Camp Ahead Of DR Congo Friendly

Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) topscorer Junior Lokosa, Ogenyi Onazi and five other have stormed the Super Eagles camp in Uyo ahead of the international friendly match with DR Congo billed for Port Harcourt on May 28

Elderson Echiejile, Willian Troost-Ekong, Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina and Ikechukwu Ezenwa are also in camp.

Their presence in camp was confirmed by the official Twitter handle of the Super Eagles which posted a picture the players took with the Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr, and his backroom staff.

The tweet posted on Monday evening reads: “In camp at the moment. World Cup bound @NGSuperEagles #SoarSuperEagles.”

The players took part in their first training session at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo alongside the Super Eagles B players scheduled to face Atletico Madrid in Tuesday’s GOTV Max Cup friendly.
