LMC Rearranges NPFL Fixtures Due To Continental Engagement

The League Management Company (LMC) has made further adjustment to the 2017/18 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) fixtures due to the involvement of four clubs in various CAF club competitions.

The new development was confirmed via a memo circulated to all clubs and made public by the league body’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), Salihu Abubakar on Monday afternoon.

Matchday 10, 11 and 13 fixtures were affected by the adjustment.

Two Matchday 10 fixtures including Go Round vs. Plateau United and Akwa United vs. Heartland were moved from Sunday, February 25 to Wednesday, March 21, 2018.

Matchday 11 fixtures involving the four clubs on the continent have been moved from this weekend to Wednesday, March 28.

These fixtures are Enyimba vs. MFM FC, Plateau United vs. Yobe Desert Stars and Katsina United vs. Akwa United.

The other scheduled Matchday 11 fixtures would hold this Sunday, March 4.

Two Matchday 13 fixtures were also moved from March 18 to April 4 while the date for two others would be revealed at a later date.

The matches with undecided date include Rivers United vs. Akwa United and Enyimba vs. Go Round while the matches to hold on April 4 are Plateau United vs. Kwara United and Rangers International vs. MFM.
