LMC, Club Owners Parley On Thursday Ahead Of NPFL Restart

The League Management Company, LMC, and the club owners will hold an emergency meeting on Thursday evening ahead of the re-commencement of the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).

LMC represents the body saddled with the responsibility of managing the NPFL.

The NPFL had earlier gone on break in June in a bid to accommodate the recently concluded FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.

Resumption was initially set for July 18 only for the league to be suspended indefinitely as a result of crisis rocking the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

With the NFF Crisis now a thing of the past, the LMC and club owners have scheduled an emergency joint meeting for Thursday evening in Abuja to deliberate on the NPFL resumption slated for the 2nd of September.
