Liverpool Identify Bowen As Potential Replacement For Salah

Liverpool have reportedly sighted West Ham United forward, Jarrod Bowen, as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah ahead of the 2024 summer transfer window.

Saudi Arabian club, Al-Ittihad, expressed interest in Salah, 31, during the summer transfer window. But they had a bid to the tune of £150 million rejected by the Reds.

Next summer, when Salah will have only twelve months left on his present contract and may be free to leave if another substantial offer comes in, the Jeddah-based club’s interest is expected to resurface.

Liverpool are said to be preparing against any eventuality as it seems the Egyptian winger might not want to renew his deal with the Merseyside club.

According to The Athletic, Liverpool have identified Bowen as one of the potential replacements should Salah leave at the end of the season.
