Liverpool Defender Ragnar Klavan Seals Cagliari Move

Estonia international defender Ragnar Klavan has left Premier League side Liverpool to join Cagliari.

The 32-year-old centre back joins the Italian Serie A club from the Reds after putting pen to paper on a two-year contract in a £2m.

Klavan struggled to nail down a first team shirt with the five-time European champions since he signed from German Bundesliga outfit Augsburg in a £4.2m deal in 2016.

The Estonia captain made 53 appearances during his two-year stay with the Reds.

He featured 28 times for Liverpool last season, including eight Champions League ties.

Ragnar Klavan has scored three goals in 124 appearances for Estonia since he made his debut in 2003.
