Liverpool Agree £40m Transfer Fee For Arsenal’s Oxlade-Chamberlain

Liverpool has reportedly agreed to sign Arsenal midfielder, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for an initial fee of £35m, which could rise to £40m.

Sky Sports reports that 24-year-old Oxlade-Chamberlain, who turned down a move to Chelsea on Tuesday, will sign a six year deal with the Red’s subject to passing his medicals and agreeing personal terms.

Oxlade-Chamberlain joined Arsenal from Southampton in August 2011 and has since made 198 appearances for the Gunners.

If the deal pulls through, the English international will become Liverpool’s fourth summer transfer addition following the moves of Mohamed Salah from Roma, full-back Andrew Robertson from Hull and striker Dominic Solanke from Chelsea.
