Olympique Marseille and Olympique Lyon have closed the gap on the top two in the French Ligue 1 after they both secured narrow wins in their respective games on Sunday.
Marseille needed goals from Lucas Ocampos and substitute Kostas Mitroglou either side of halftime to seal a 2-1 win at Toulouse.
Firmin Ndombe Mubele had levelled matters for his side in the first half before Mitroglou’s late goal secured the points for the visitors.
Lyon also bagged a slim victory courtesy a 1-0 home win over Caen with Burkina Faso international forward Bertrand Traore getting the only goal of the game on 63 minutes.
