Paris Saint Germain (PSG) made a winning start as new French champions after they secured a slim 1-0 win over their hosts Bordeaux in a French Ligue 1 Matchday 34 clash played on Sunday night.

Giovanni Lo Celso’s quality finish on 77 minutes was enough to give PSG the three points at stake in what was ther first league match since they became champions.

The victory takes PSG’s point tally to 90 points and 20 points clear of nearest challenger AS Monaco while Bordeaux (43 points) stay in 11th spot on the league table.
