Ligue 1 Review: Monaco Lose Two-Goal Lead In Tolouse Draw As Champions Fail To Narrow Gap On PSG

French champions AS Monaco have failed to really close the gap on league leaders Paris Saint Germain (PSG) after they lost a two-goal lead to draw 3-3 at Tolouse in their Ligue 1 Matchday 27 clash on Saturday.

In-form Rony Lopes scored a brace for Monaco either side of the interval cum Ibrahima Sangare’s 24th minute equaliser before Stefan Jovetic extend the lead to 3-1 in the second half.

The hosts fought back through Andy Delort and former Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo to earn a share of the spoils.

Monaco are still in 2nd spot but they move to 57 points and within 11 points of Paris Saint Germain (PSG) who play Olympique Marseille on Sunday evening.
