Spanish forward Marco Asensio scored with a minute left on the clock to hand his Real Madrid side a slender 1-0 advantage against hosts Leganes in their Copa Del Rey quarter-final 1st leg clash.

The Spanish and European champions largely dominated proceedings and were rewarded in the 89th via the volley from the aforementioned Asensio.

The slim win temporarily lifts the pressure off the shoulders of manager Zinedine Zidane with his side in the driving seat ahead of their second leg clash with Leganes at the Estadio Santiago Bernebeu next week Thursday.
