La Liga Review: Real Madrid Put Pressure On Top Two With Malaga Win As Atletico Thrash Levante To Trim Barcelona Lead

Real Madrid have moved back to within four points of the top two following their 2-1 win at basement club Malaga in their Spanish La Liga Matchday 33 clash played on Sunday night.

Isco and Casemiro scored either side of the halftime interval to edge the Los Merengues 2-0 ahead before Diego Rolan pulled one back for the home side towards the end of the game.

City rivals Atletico Madrid had earlier won 3-0 at home to Levante to trim Barcelona’s lead to 11 points with five league games to play.

Angel Correa, Antoine Griezmann and Fernando Torres got the goals for Diego Simeone’s side.
