Real Betis have boosted their European hopes after they earned a slim 1-0 win at Girona in their Spanish La Liga Matchday 32 clash on Friday night.

Spanish striker Loren Moron turned out to be the matchwinner for the visitors as he produced the only goal of the game on 36 minutes to hand his side the maximum points at stake and a 5th successive league victory.

The win strengthens Betis’ grip on 5th place with 52 points while Girona suffer major dent to their European ambitions but still stay in 8th spot with 44 points.
