Real Madrid have nailed down a top-three finish after they finished their home games in style with the 6-0 thumping of Celta Vigo in a Spanish La Liga clash played at the Estadio Santiago Bernebeu on Saturday.

The Los Merengues took a 3-0 lead at halftime with goals from Gareth Bale (2) and Isco before Achraaf Hakimi, Sergi Gomez (own goal) and Toni Kroos added three more in the second half.

The win ensured that Real Madrid (75 points) secure third position ahead of Valencia (70 points) with just one game left to play for both teams this season.
