Atletico Madrid have moved back to within seven points of Spanish La Liga leaders Barcelona after they thrashed their hosts Sevilla 5-2 in a Matchday 25 league clash on Sunday night.

The Rojiblancos needed to win to close the gap on Barcelona who had gone 10 points clear on Saturday with a convincing 6-1 victory over fellow Catalan outfit Girona.

Antoine Griezmann was the star of the show for Atletico as he netted a hattrick to lead his team to the big win. Koke and Diego Costa got the other goals while two late goals from Pablo Sarabia and Nolito limited the damage done for Sevilla.
