Kwara United To Unveil Abubakar Bala As New Technical Adviser

Kwara United have appointed Abubakar Bala as the club’s new technical adviser.

This was confirmed by the Ilorin-based outfit via a club statement which also revealed that he would be unveiled on Wednesday.

Former Niger Tornadoes gaffer Abubakar Bala will replace former head coach John Obuh who resigned from the position on Monday after leading the newly promoted Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) outfit to an indifferent start to the season.

Kwara United are presently languishing at the bottom of the league with just 11 points from the first 12 games of the season.

The club statement signed by the media officer Abdul Waheed Bibire said: “Former Niger Tornadoes of Minna coach, Abubakar Bala has been appointed as the new technical adviser of Kwara United.

He replaces John Obuh who recently resigned his position, following the not too impressive performance of the club in the Nigeria professional football league.

Coach Bala is expected to be unveil to the public on Wednesday 14/03/2018 at the conference room of the indoor hall, Kwara state stadium complex Ilorin by 4pm prompt.”
