Kwara United Part Company With John Obuh

Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) outfit Kwara United have parted company with the club’s technical adviser, John Obuh.

Former Flying Eagles head coach Obuh led the Ilorin-based outfit to the bottom of the league table and that prompted his exit from the club.

Kwara United have recorded just 11 points from 12 league games.

Obuh led the team to 3 wins, 2 draws and 7 losses with 7 goals scored and 18 goals conceded.

The decision to part ways with Obuh was contained in a statement signed by the media officer of the club Abdul Waheed Bibire on behalf of the clubs president sir Prince Oladimeji Ladi Thompson.

According to the statement, the two parties reached a compromise after a meeting initiated by the Kwara State Football Association (FA) chairman Mallam Busari Ishola.

His last game in charge of Kwara United proved to be Sunday’s 1-1 draw with El-kanemi Warriors at the Ilorin Township Stadium.
