Ronald Koeman has been named the new head coach of Netherlands’ senior national men’s team.

He becomes the Oranje coach after signing a four-and-half year contract.

Former Southampton and Everton manager Koeman has been without a job since he was sacked as Toffees’ boss at the start of this season.

He has been tasked to get the team back to the top after the failure to qualify for two successive major tournaments (2016 European Championships and 2018 World Cup).
