The Athletics Federation of Kenya is set to bid for the hosting of 2023 World Athletics Championships, according to reports reaching www.busybuddiesng.com.
The announcement was made at a ceremony that welcomed home Team Kenya from the just concluded World Championships in London.
Team Kenya finished second at the World Championships in London with 5 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze medals, and is considered a power house in world athletics.

The country will also host next year’s Championship for African Nations CHAN.
